Collaboration again with popular strawberry farms Hanacha and Ogawa Farm in Chitose: ‘Strawberry Sweets Lunch & Dinner Buffet’, 7 and 8 June only.

The ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Chitose will hold the Strawberry Sweets Lunch and Dinner Buffet on 7 and 8 June 2025 only, in collaboration with strawberry farms Hanacha and Ogawa Farm in Chitose City.

This event was a great success last year, with reservations for lunch filling up within a week of opening and for dinner within a month. This year’s event is a great opportunity to enjoy the charms of Hokkaido strawberries, which are in season again this year.

The buffet features a variety of delicious desserts, including the Charlotte Fraise, a traditional French dessert with strawberry mousse and bavarois wrapped in a fluffy biscuit; the Strawberry Millefeuille, a crispy cake with the aroma of Hokkaido butter, layered with custard and plenty of cream; the Petit Frège, a combination of strawberries, soft butter cream and custard cream; and the Petit Frégé, a combination of strawberries, soft butter cream and custard cream. Furthermore, strawberry-based dishes such as the Strawberry Quattro Formaggi, baked in the open kitchen pizza oven, and the Chicken Brese and Strawberry Pinchos, which combines slow-cooked chicken and strawberries, will also be available, allowing customers to enjoy the new taste of strawberries not only as a sweet treat, but also as a meal.

[KYUKAMURA OHMI-HACHIMAN]Tour of Lake Biwa’s famous landmarks ‘Enjoying “Biwa Ichi” by bus – around Lake Biwa’ tour.

The resort hotel ‘KYUKAMURA OHMI-HACHIMAN’, located on the eastern shore of Lake Biwa in Shiga Prefecture, in Omi Hachiman City, known for its Omi merchants and Azuchi Castle, is inviting participants to join the ‘Biwaichi’ bus tour, which immerses them in the historical romance of Shiga Prefecture, which has flourished as a key transport hub since ancient times, close to Kyoto and Nara.
