Tsukioka Onsen’s craft beer brewery “Tsukioka Brewery & Kitchen GEPPO” will release “Craft Beer 1,300 sets”, which is a set of chocolates of a new genre recommended for adult Valentine, “Ruby chocolate” and “Coffee”.

The craft beer brewery “TSUKIOKA BREWERY” located in Tsukioka Onsen, Niigata Prefecture, has won the International Beer Cup (IBC) and Japan Great Beer Awards from the first year of its opening in August 2020. We will continue to sell craft beer made from Japan’s first Lebea chocolate, which was sold out in one day last year, and craft beer made from coffee roasted in Shintada.

―Ruby chocolate beer―
The fourth chocolate, ruby chocolate, discovered for the first time in about 80 years since dark, milk and white chocolate, is made from pink cocoa beans without any coloring, and has a fruity aroma and berries. It is a chocolate with a characteristic acidity.

It has been the focus of attention in the chocolate industry for the last few years and is characterized by its gorgeous pink appearance, fruity aroma and berry-based acidity.
By adding raspberry juice that goes well with the up-and-coming ruby chocolate, it has become an adult fruit chocolate beer with the aroma of chocolate, the bitterness of craft beer, and the acidity of berries.

―Tsukioka Coffee―
Tsukioka Coffee uses “Mokajaba” that has been roasted in Shibata City. It is said to be the oldest blend recipe in the world because it has a texture like strawberry, milk chocolate, full body, and brown sugar.

The scent of French roast of “Mokajaba” and separate coffee beans for seasoning are used. Using 10 times as much coffee beans as last year, we finished the sake so that you can directly feel the original taste. Expressed by the same word “Brew”, “brewing beer” and “brewing coffee”, it is a common language for craft beer and coffee. The beer has a bitter taste like cold brew coffee.
