[Kyoto City, Rakuhoku Area] Kibune Maple Lantern Festival will be held from November 3.

From November 3 to 26, 2023, Kibune Shrine, located in the Rakuhoku area of Kyoto City, and the Ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) district will be illuminated with lanterns. At Kibune Shrine, brightly illuminated autumn leaves will be floating with the shrine pavilions, mainly in the main shrine.

Duration: November 3-26, 2023
Location: ・Ryokan area around from Kibune Shrine precincts and Okumiya shrine (approx. 1,000 m)
*Installation of lanterns was also carried out.
・Eizan Railway Ninose Station and Kibunaguchi Station
・The “Maple Tunnel” section (approx. 250 m) between Ichihara and Ninose Stations on the Eizan Railway
Special service: During this period, Kyoto Bus will operate a special service until around 8:30 p.m.
(Between Eiden Kibune-guchi Station bus stop and Kibune temporary bus stop)

On November 3 (Fri., holiday), 4 (Sat.), 5 (Sun.), 11 (Sat.), 12 (Sun.), 18 (Sat.), 19 (Sun.), 23 (Thu., holiday), 24 (Fri.), 25 (Sat.), 26 (Sun.), Kibune Handmade Market will be held at Okumiya.
