A limited-period sale of Uchiagebana, a top-quality confectionery inspired by the image of fireworks shooting up into the night sky.

2024.07.15

Okamedo Corporation, a long-established Japanese confectionery in Aichi Prefecture, will launch the transparent and beautiful sweet ‘Uchijobanabi’, which will be available for a limited time from July in its online shop and from August in all Okamedo directly-owned shops in Higashi Mikawa.

This is a modern and gorgeous summer wagashi with a delightful contrast in texture between the Domyoji kan, which melts and loosens on the tongue, and the Nishikidama kan, which crumbles as if it were cracking.

A cool Japanese confectionery that tastes even better when chilled.

It tastes great when defrosted and cooled in the fridge. You can also enjoy the sticky texture of the base, domyoji.

Price: 500 yen
Okamedo head office: 164 Minamikoike-cho, Toyohashi, Aichi, Japan
Opening hours.: 9:00-18:00.
