[Experience Japanese tradition at home] Introducing a kit of traditional culture that’s easy at home!

2020.05.29

“Wagokoro,” a web media operated by Hitoto Co., Ltd. that transmits the charm of Japanese tradition, has published an article that introduces traditional culture to enjoy at home for those who spend long hours indoors.

When it comes to “experience traditional culture,” I think many people have a special feeling that they need to go somewhere far away or try unusual tools.

Although some people may have shy away from the image of high hurdles, there are many traditional cultures that you can easily experience at home.

Therefore, we have put together a kit of traditional culture that you can easily experience alone, with your family, and with your friends on a little “home time” or on holidays.

Mini bonsai set

We have all the essential tools for bonsai, such as scissors and fertilizer for pruning.
Let’s grow your favorite bonsai from Goyomatsu, longevity plums and cherry blossoms.

Glass wind chime

Not only the transparent glass part, but also the strip part is plain, so you can draw your favorite picture with acrylic paint or oil-based pen to make an original wind chime.

Mini matcha set

In addition to matcha, you can easily enjoy authentic matcha with a bowl and chasen.

Kit to make original Kutani ware

You can make one Kutani ware in the world simply by sticking a transfer sticker on the container.
It is a very interesting product that will be baked and delivered if you send it to the selling company after applying the sticker.

Japanese paper hand-dyed kit

Normally, it is a dye used for fabrics, but we have developed a dye specially made for Japanese paper with fine particles so that it can soak into delicate Japanese paper and spread vividly.
Since such dye and Japanese paper are included in the set, you can easily enjoy hand dyeing.

All products are perfect for beginners and beginners.
Although I have to spend a lot of time at home, I hope that it will be a good time to experience Japanese traditional culture.
