Let’s connect the Sendai Tanabata Festival to the future!

2020.07.15

Kanezaki Co., Ltd. is committed to passing on the tradition of Sendai to the next generation through the daily making of bamboo shoots.
Beyond the frame of making kamaboko, Kanezaki wondered what he could do to make the traditional Sendai Tanabata Festival (August 6-8), which represents Sendai the hometown, more attractive. Project was launched in 2014.

However, this year in 2020, the Sendai Tanabata Festival was canceled due to the spread of new coronavirus infection. Kanezaki, who has been making efforts every year to energize Sendai with the Future Tanabata Project, has started the Future Mirai Tanabata Project 2020 this year. This time, the second edition, we will hold a limited-time limited number of products and hold a customer participation event in order to “deliver a wish to the stars with a wish in a strip.”
