We also provide equipment rental services such as projectors, PCs, and audio equipment, as well as a dedicated reservation site.
A private music space to enjoy with records. It can be used for a short time according to various needs such as private parties, watching movies, walking breaks, naps, workspaces for meetings and intensive work, telework and online distribution, personal salons, etc.

The roasting machine manufactured in Santa Rosa, California, which is located inside the store, carefully roasts carefully selected green coffee beans. Always fresh, you can enjoy a gourmet coffee that is ready to drink.
Homemade bagels made with natural yeast baked in the workshop every morning, you can also order your favorite bagel sandwich by choosing the dough and ingredients from several types.

<Shochu BAR “Kurage”>
It is a bar where you can enjoy more than 40 types of awamori, awamori, and distilled liquor, centered on brown sugar liquor.

Rock and soda, such as lemon sour, which is made by soaking lemon zest in shochu and adding freshly squeezed fruits, and coffee shochu, which is roasted with SIDEWALK COFFEE ROASTERS and is made by adding organically grown Ethiopia to brown sugar shochu. You can enjoy it for a while (currently closed due to the emergency declaration period).

Popular record shop Jazzy Sport record rental, complete with record players in all rooms

We have 300 Jazzy Sport select records entitled Jazzy Sport POP UP SHOP, and provide music that matches the space of MUSTARD (TM) HOTEL SHIMOKITAZAWA such as soul, jazz, hip hop, and city pop. You can rent it for free to guests (there is a limit on the number of tickets that can be used at one time), and you can enjoy your favorite music with the record player installed in all guest rooms.

ZIPANGU Contemporary artists who have run through the Heisei era” Takashi Murakami x Sueo Mizuma dialogue: ‘Beyond the Theory of Artistic Entrepreneurship’ / Interview with Mr. Mizuma: ‘Rediscovering the Value of Japanese Culture by the Japanese People

The Hiroshima Museum of Art is hosting the exhibition “ZIPANGU: Contemporary Artists Who Defined the Heisei Era” (November 2, 2024 – December 22, 2024). This showcase brings together works by some of the most prominent figures in Japan’s contemporary art scene, including Yayoi Kusama, Takashi Murakami, Makoto Aida, Yoshitomo Nara, Chiharu Shiota, Izumi Kato, Akira Yamaguchi, and Miwa Komatsu. The exhibition has already garnered significant attention, exceeding 10,000 visitors.

HYAKKEI covered the dialogue between contemporary artist Takashi Murakami and Sueo Mizuma, the curator of this exhibition, held at the RIHGA Royal Hotel Hiroshima. We also conducted an exclusive interview with Mr. Mizuma.

The discussions centered on the aspirations behind the ZIPANGU exhibition and offered forward-looking insights, not only into Japan’s art world but also into the rediscovery of value within Japanese culture by its people.

Two types of autumn-only red seals, ‘Chrysanthemum and Tanzaku’ and ‘Autumn Leaves and Candles’, are now available at Daisho-in Temple, Miyajima, a World Heritage island.

Two types of paper seals made exclusively for autumn, ‘Chrysanthemum and Tanzaku’ and ‘Autumn Leaves and Candles’, have been available since Monday 9 September at Daisho-in Temple on the World Heritage island of Miyajima. Quantities are limited and will run out as soon as they are gone.
