[Shinjuku Gyoen x Naked] NAKED Autumn Foliage in Shinjuku Gyoen 2023 to be held

2023.10.26

From November 22 (Wed) to December 3 (Sun), 2023, an autumn foliage lighting event will be held at Shinjuku Gyoen. Following the cherry blossom event this spring, Shinjuku Gyoen and Naked will collaborate again this fall for the autumn foliage event. Shinjuku Gyoen, one of Tokyo’s most famous gardens, is one of the few places in the city where visitors can enjoy the autumn leaves. The 200-meter-long rows of plane trees, the best maple tree spot in the city, Momijiyama, and the “Middle Pond,” with its spectacular reflection in the pond, will offer a world where the autumn leaves of Shinjuku Gyoen and Naked’s art and food are fused together.

Platanus avenue "Autumn breeze"

This dynamic light-up area complements the vast avenue of tree-lined avenues lined with plane trees, each approximately 200 meters long. The beauty of the golden-red plane trees is enveloped on a breathtaking scale by the moving light effects.

Momijiyama "Irodori-momiji" (colored maple)

The beauty of Tokyo’s best-known spot for maple trees is illuminated by a light display that evokes the image of blue maples turning red in stages. The laser lights with fine dancing light particles represent fluttering maple trees.

Middle Pond "Autumn Color Light"

The trees surrounding the pond in the middle of the park and the projection mapping and lighting by Naked reflect beautifully on the surface of the water.

Food and Beverage Area "Autumn in Japan"

A food and beverage area where you can enjoy Japanese autumnal food and drinks. There will be a variety of food and drink booths where you can enjoy the taste of autumn, including vegan sweets & drinks served by the “TREE by NAKED” kitchen car.

NAKED Distance Lanterns: ®︎

The artistic lanterns developed by Naked were very popular at the spring event. Visitors with lanterns in hand can become a part of the light art themselves as the various lights projected on the ground brightly illuminate the event site.
