At the Japanese tea café Tongu Saryo, which opened in 2023, a new seasonal topping that feels like autumn for Saryo Terrine (matcha and hojicha), which tastes like eating tea, is available from 19 September 2024 in a limited edition menu called ‘Kinmokusai’.

In Japan, which has four distinct seasons, autumn is especially enjoyed as the season of leaves and fruit. It is a time to enjoy nature and food in abundance, with colourful foliage and an abundance of autumnal delicacies such as chestnuts and persimmons.

In keeping with the Japanese culture of enjoying autumn, enjoy seasonal products based on the golden osmanthus, which blooms from September to October.
