“Okomori Green Tea Stay” to enjoy and refresh Japanese tea

2020.06.06

The hot spring inn “Hoshino Resort KAI Enshu” located in Shizuoka Prefecture, which is famous as a tea shop, offers “Okomori Green Tea Stay” where you can enjoy Japanese tea all day from check-in to check-out. In KAI ENZU, we have been offering hospitality using tea for a long time, but this time, we will newly prepare “Guest Room Green Tea Refresh Set” in the guest room, which is a private space. You can spend the time at a hot spring inn as if you were visiting a tea shop such as a tea farm or a tea dealer.

Catechin, a bitter and astringent ingredient contained in green tea, is said to have the effect of preventing influenza infection and enhancing immunity, and theanine, a umami ingredient, is said to have a relaxing effect. KAI ENZU is a hot spring inn with a tea plantation in the courtyard of the facility. For a long time, there is a bathing method using tea leaves, a tea incense burner where you can enjoy the scent of tea leaves, and a program that explains the charm of tea, “Ojiraku-Micharaku”. Etc. have been provided. I witnessed the violence of the virus, strengthened the hospitality that deepens my understanding of green tea, and came up with the idea that I would like to enjoy a wide range of famous tea just by staying at the inn.

Contents of the new guest room green tea refresh set

・Original leaflet where you can learn about green tea yourself
・Rental of a convenient filter-in bottle that allows you to experience the “green tea gargling” that attracts attention for infection prevention

List of teas you can enjoy during your stay
