From January 12, 2021, Hoshino Resorts’ hot spring inn brand “Kai”, which is expanding nationwide, began offering “Kai’s local motivation goods” at all facilities. We want you to enjoy a trip with excitement and fresh discoveries while taking all possible measures to prevent the spread of infection. With that in mind, you can complete and complete a program related to local traditional crafts and culture in your guest room. Prepare the experience.
In the guest room, which is a private space, you can spend a fulfilling guest room time with original goods that you can taste the individuality and regional color of each land. Even after returning from the trip, there are things that you can decorate and wear, and contents that you want to continue at home, and it is also a feature that you can enjoy the afterglow of the trip.
3 It is necessary to take careful measures such as wearing a mask, gargle, washing hands, disinfecting, and paying attention to social distance and ventilation. For that reason, now that I have to put up with some of the trips that I would normally enjoy. The project started with the desire of the staff to entertain guests who have finally set out on a trip with goods that convey the warmth of the region.
Based on the points of infectious disease countermeasures, in order to propose a way to enjoy at a new hot spring inn, we came up with the idea of a regional experience program “Kai no Local Omomori Goods” that can be completed in the guest room. We are also conscious of “micro tourism”, which is attracting attention as a short-distance trip, and we are devising ways to make people who live in the local area or nearby familiar with it and to be surprised to meet it for the first time.
1. Enjoy only guests in the guest room
2. Experience, enjoy, learn, and heal local traditional crafts, culture, and natural materials.
3. Responding to micro tourism needs, it seems that guests from local and neighboring areas will meet for the first time
I’m surprised
4. You can take the finished product home with you, and you will want to continue at home, so you can enjoy the lingering sound even after the trip is over.
* What is micro tourism? : 3 A style of travel that you spend in your hometown or nearby while avoiding crowds. It is attracting attention during the Corona period as a journey that allows you to rediscover the charm of the area while spending time safely and securely within a 1-2 hour travel distance from your home.
