What is Sutamacho Hishi, Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture?

Sutamacho Hishi is located in the southeast of Hokuto City. Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture, is said to be Sanshi Suimei (the sun shines, the mountains look purple, and the river flows cleanly. Beautiful mountain water). Until 1955, charcoal-grilling was used as a household fuel. There are many people, and it is recorded in the literature that clear smoke of “purple” was rising from the mountainside almost every day.

In addition, the specialty purple flower beans (precious plateau flower beans that grow only in cool areas) are rare products that can only be cultivated in the “Masutomi district” of Sutama-cho and the “Kiyosato district” of Takane-cho in Hokuto City.

We have opened an old folk house inn that takes advantage of the goodness of the area of Sutamacho Hishi.

About the Rufu Gokyo family

The Rufu Gokyo family is a 137-year-old wooden one-story house.
For generations of ancestors, rice farming, silkworm farming, and winter are a living cultural property left by part-time farmers who used to live in civil engineering. I will.

After enjoying the experience of the land, you can enjoy the “bonfire” while gazing at the starry sky in the garden.
Experience a bonfire that you can’t easily experience at an old folk house inn.
You can relax and enjoy the night time by talking around the fire without worrying about the surroundings.

In the warehouse next to the main building, we have a selection of “Yamanashi wine” carefully selected by the staff of Rufu.
You can enjoy the scent of wine in a luxurious space with a special feeling that is a bit different from the main building.
