Enjoy a dinner with a lantern-shaped partition “Hoshinoya Tokyo”

2021.10.23

“Hoshinoya Tokyo” will start offering “Tokyo Lantern Dinner” from October 13, 2021. We have developed a lantern-type partition focusing on lanterns that are familiar to Japanese customs and culture so that you can enjoy your meal with peace of mind.

Lantern type partition jointly developed with a long-established lantern

The lanterns used as partitions were made by Kojima Shoten, a long-established lantern shop in Kyoto, which was founded during the Kansei Edo period. The original lantern-shaped partition created by the craftsmen from the skeleton to the painting has been completed. Due to the unique shape of the elastic lantern, you can go in and out freely.

Guests can invite outpatients

Hoshinoya Tokyo’s dining room usually accepts reservations only for guests, but guests can invite outpatients to the dining room only for this dinner. We will prepare opportunities for dinner with loved ones who could not meet at Corona, depending on the purpose, such as meeting the two families for marriage, birthdays, anniversaries, business dinners, etc.

A safe space to enjoy without a mask

The meal at this dinner is a private space of about 40 square meters with a lantern-shaped partition. This space is ventilated about 5.5 times per hour, which is about 11 times the standard. In addition, the front of the lantern-shaped partition is fitted with vinyl to prevent splashing on the other party, and the back is vacant so that ventilation can be ventilated, so you can enjoy meals and conversations with peace of mind.

* The Building Standards Law stipulates that the ventilation rate is 0.5 times per hour.

Nippon Cuisine ~ Fermentation ~

Hoshinoya Tokyo is a Japanese inn that has evolved by incorporating comfort that suits modern people while respecting traditional Japanese style. The dining room on the first basement floor offers “Nippon Cuisine,” which combines the food culture of “fermentation,” which has been cultivated in Japan for a long time, with the cooking techniques of French cuisine.
It is said that incorporating fermented foods into the diet can be expected to have the effect of boosting immunity.
