2022.04.20

At Hoshino Resorts RISONARE Atami, spend a relaxing and luxurious time in the spacious guest room “Terrace Living Suite” overlooking the sea and the city, and stay elegantly while experiencing abundant activities and services. We have started the service of “Luxury of the Dawn-Terrace Living Suite Stay-“.

Spacious guest room "Terrace Living Suite" overlooking the sea and the city

With this plan, we will stay in the spacious 158 square meters “Terrace Living Suite” with a panoramic view of the sea and the city. Not only can you relax in the spacious living space, but you can also relax on the terrace with a pleasant breeze.

At night, you can spend a relaxing time as you wish, such as enjoying a drink such as wine or sake from the minibar in the guest room and enjoying sparklers on the terrace while gazing at the shining night view.

Enjoy kaiseki cuisine using caviar as if wrapped in fireworks

Supper is a kaiseki meal at “Japanese Dining Fireworks” where you can enjoy the feeling of being surrounded by fireworks. In this plan, we will specially offer “Caviar Monaka Soymilk Sour Cream Yuzu and Yuzu Flavor” with caviar, yuzu and yam in the middle.

Caviar, which is often used in Western cuisine, is combined with yuzu, wasabi, and monaka to create a Japanese-style dish. Soy milk sour cream, which is made from soybeans and whipped, enhances the taste of caviar. It is recommended that you enjoy it with sake.

Breakfast in your room overlooking the ocean below

Breakfast can be enjoyed in your room so that you can spend your morning time relaxedly and gracefully. Enjoy freshly baked bagel sandwiches and frittatas while gazing at the ocean below. Breakfast for a refreshing day with a cup of freshly brewed coffee.

Activities and services to spend a luxurious time

Under this plan, hotel staff will make reservations for activities and services, and arrange for chartered use of some facilities. At check-in, you will be asked to select the activities and services available in this plan that you would like to experience.

The staff who asked for your wishes will propose the optimal stay schedule on the spot. For example, you can enjoy activities and services that allow you to spend a luxurious time, such as cruising, spa, and private use of the large communal bath “Meisei no Yu”.

Examples of activities and services that can be used with this plan

・San Remo Piccola
You can cruise the nearby sea with a chartered motor board. The cityscape seen from the sea is also a good view.

Spa
An all-hand treatment to prepare your mind and body.

・Large communal bath “Meisei no Yu” reserved

Eighty Years After the War: A Reflection on the Preciousness of Ordinary Life YUKIKAZE – In Theaters Nationwide from August 15, 2025

“To Return Alive, To Bring Others Home Alive”

Opening nationwide on August 15, 2025—marking eighty years since the end of World War II—YUKIKAZE is a feature film based on the true story of the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) destroyer Yukikaze, a vessel that rescued countless lives amid the horrors of war. A press screening was held in advance at the Sony Pictures screening room.

The destroyer Yukikaze, which served throughout the Pacific War, was renowned for rescuing numerous sailors thrown into the sea during fierce naval battles, surviving to the end of the war virtually unscathed. It earned the legendary moniker “the lucky ship.” This film brings to life the ship’s heroic journey, alongside the lives of those who persevered through one of the most turbulent eras in modern history.

Leading the cast is Yutaka Takenouchi as Captain Kazutoshi Terasawa—a fictional amalgamation inspired by the real-life captains of Yukikaze. Hiroshi Tamaki portrays Petty Officer First Class Kohei Hayase. Supporting roles are delivered by an ensemble of acclaimed actors including Daiken Okudaira, Rena Tanaka, Kanji Ishimaru, and Toru Masuoka. Kiichi Nakai delivers a commanding performance as Vice Admiral Seiichi Itō, the Second Fleet Commander of the IJN who met his fate aboard the battleship Yamato.

In today’s world, once again shaken by division and violence, YUKIKAZE poses an urgent question to those of us living in the peace that others fought to protect: Are we once again treading the path of past mistakes? As collective memory of the war fades, this film becomes ever more vital—a call to reflect on the true value of peace.
