Spring Ski Season Arrives at Tengendai Kogen Ski Resort in Yonezawa City, Yamagata Prefecture

Located at a high altitude, Tengendai Kogen offers not only good powder snow during the cold season, but also long season skiing until Golden Week every year. This season is called “spring skiing,” and attracts many enthusiasts from within and outside of the prefecture, including those from the Kanto region and northward.

On Sundays, April 2, 9, 16, and 23, the ropeway and the lowest Shirakaba Romance Lift will be open from 7:00 a.m., allowing visitors to enjoy spring skiing to the fullest.
