Eitaro Sohonshiki launches “Daifuku” strawberry rice cake using bright red ripe strawberries.

Eitaro Sohon Shokuho sells Daifuku (strawberry daifuku), which consists of bright red, ripe Tochiotome and Tochiai grown at “Heart & Berry” in Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture, wrapped in a special red bean paste and a crispy rice cake.

Strawberry Daifuku Tochiotome
Tochiotome, which has a perfect balance of just the right amount of sourness and sweetness, is combined with a refreshing half-red bean paste.

A new variety of strawberry, Tochiaika, has just been released nationwide in 2021.
The strawberries, characterized by their mild sweetness and crisp texture, are combined with half azuki bean paste.
A craftsman will make it during a demonstration in the store.
