From December 1, 2023 to February 29, 2024, we will offer a winter-only “Hajimete no Onsen Hitori Tabi” (First-time Onsen Solo Trip). This program proposes a way to enjoy yourself at an onsen ryokan where you can take your time and savor the local attractions because you are on your own.
A "moment of manual labor" that you can concentrate on because you are alone.
KAI offers a local cultural experience, “A Moment of Handicraft,” which allows visitors to see and experience up close the rare skills of artisans, artists, and producers who carry on the local culture. Visitors receive an explanation of the history and characteristics of each handicraft and are invited to a special demonstration of their skills. One person can participate in this tegyo, where the tools and materials that support the craftsmanship can also be seen.
Hitori-nabe Kaiseki" which you can enjoy because you are alone.
We will prepare “Hitori-nabe Kaiseki,” customized local nabe dishes exclusively for one person. You can order the necessary ingredients and adjust the amount to your liking, allowing you to enjoy the specialty nabe at your own pace and without hesitation.
Because I am alone, I am "free and open-air bath".
You can enjoy the distinctive hot springs of each facility in the open-air guest room baths. You can spend your free time bathing whenever you like and as much as you like. After the bath, you will be served with a bottle of sparkling sake with local characteristics that will quench your dry throat.
