The craftsmen are working hard to make a large tub that surrounds them. Introducing a new work of the “Doraemon” Ukiyo-e series with the motif of “Tomitake 36 Scenic Bishu Fujimihara”, a masterpiece with a bold and unusual composition that captures the appearance of a small Mt. Fuji in the distance through the tub. Reservations are accepted from October 8, 2021.

The bright indigo color and the belo indigo that Hokusai liked to use are rubbed in the sky. I feel that Doraemon and Nobita are having fun while working hard to make barrels, and Mt. Fuji, which is seen in the distance, is watching over them.
Doraemon and Nobita, which blend in with Hokusai’s masterpieces, and the traditional techniques of sculptors and sushi masters drawn on Echizen handmade Japanese paper.

A part of the woodblock (hangi) used for carving and rubbing. Many woodblock prints are carved for each color, and the number of woodblock prints is rubbed over and over again to finally complete one ukiyo-e woodblock print.
It is a gem that creates an indescribable handmade texture one by one by the extremely delicate and advanced technique of the sushi master.
