“Karuizawa Wild Bird Sanctuary” adjacent to Hoshinoya Karuizawa. The Kera Pond at the entrance is open as an outdoor skating rink during the winter. Only for this plan, you can set up a large seat for two people on the ice. It is a reserved space limited to 2 people per group. We also offer amusement with champagne and assorted dried fruits and cheese. Relax as if you were lying down, and spend the night with your loved one while gazing at the stars in the clear sky.

In the guest rooms where you can fully enjoy nature, we will prepare herbal teas, sweets and arrangement flowers that are offered only in this plan. The sweets to be enjoyed with herbal tea, which is characterized by its sweet and gorgeous scent, include florentine using Miso, a specialty of Shinshu, polvoron, which is said to be a “confectionery that brings happiness,” strawberry and apple, and parted fluy with bright colors. There are 4 types. Arrangement flowers are made using wild flowers named after Karuizawa by the flower list according to the view from the guest room. You can also take the arrangement flowers home with you.

On the site of about 12,000 tsubo of Hoshinoya Karuizawa, the landscape that has sublimated to the present age spreads by homage to the original scenery of the Japanese mind, such as rice terraces, rivers, and vegetation specializing in endemic species. The custom-made photo tour is a private tour limited to one group, where you can take a commemorative photo at your favorite place while strolling around the site with a cameraman. The photos taken will be handed over as an album with the Hoshinoya Karuizawa logo.
