From February 6, 2024 (Tuesday), the Kyushu National Museum will open a new spot, “Kyuhaku Garden Ashiyu Jaya (footbath teahouse),” where visitors can enjoy a relaxing footbath while savoring light meals and sweets while feeling the seasonal breeze.
A new relaxing spot where you can enjoy Kyushu's famous teas and sweet treats while relaxing your tired feet.
We hope you will enjoy a moment of relaxation and feel the breeze of the season after strolling through the rich nature of Dazaifu or enjoying the exhibitions at the museum to your heart’s content. In addition to the sweet treats, we also offer other refreshments such as unimusubi (eel) and other snacks. This will be the third restaurant operated by Zetton in the Kyushu National Museum, following “Iinoji,” which opened last December.
How to use
Please choose your favorite set from either the teahouse set or cafe set.
All set menus include a footbath fee (with towel).
*The time of use is limited to 45 minutes per couple.
*In case of rain, the event will be cancelled.
