Arita ware pottery market, which is famous all over the country with 1 million people visiting each year due to the new coronavirus, was announced to be postponed due to the new coronavirus the other day, and we are looking forward to talking with customers who we can hardly meet. The craftsmen who were making were also shrugging.
It’s always hard to go out of school, work from home, or go out, but I want to maximize the opportunity to enjoy shopping. We would like to contribute to the Japanese economy by holding an event that connects the production center of production and the household.
About Arita ware
The potters who cooperated this time are 1616 / arita japan, 2016 /, Marubun, Marushige pottery, Yamato pottery. Arita porcelain is characterized by a pure white porcelain and a pattern drawn with indigo pigment called Kuresu and vivid glassy paint. It is one of the “three major porcelains” that Japan is proud of, and is highly evaluated not only in Japan but also overseas.
Arita ware, founded in 1616, is a historical pottery that has been loved by many people for over 400 years.
