[Yakushi Onsen Hotel, Hatago] Annual spring event “Sagemon Hinamatsuri 2023” is now being held.

It is said that the Sagemon Hinamatsuri originated when people celebrated the first Doll’s Festival by making and decorating small articles out of scraps of old clothes instead of Hina dolls. The Sagemon Hina Matsuri is on display at Yakushi Onsen “Hatago” in Kayabuki-no-Sato until March 31 (Fri.).

Enjoy Mt. Hiei in spring from the window of the Eizan cable/ropeway

On March 18, 2023 (Sat), the Eizan Cable/Ropeway, which had been closed in the winter due to maintenance, will resume operation.
You can travel from Yase to Mt. Hiei while enjoying the magnificent natural scenery.
With an altitude difference of 561m, the cable boasts the highest altitude in Japan and connects about 1.3km in 9 minutes. The best time to see cherry blossoms is from mid-April to late April.

[Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise] Cherry blossom viewing experience unique to Seapara March 1, 2023 (Wed) ~

From March 1st (Wed) to July 14th (Fri), 2023, the spring/early summer event “#HanaPara” will be held with the theme of “competition of living things and flowers”.
As the first event, you can enjoy a cherry blossom viewing unique to the aquarium, such as the underwater cherry blossoms “Super Sardine Illusion-Ouka Ranbu-” where 50,000 sardines, the largest number of sardines in Japan, are fascinated.
