New ice cream for low-sugar sweets made by pastry chef who can not eat sugar in Kagoshima

2020.06.29

With its main store in Kagoshima City, this year’s 7th year, the sweets shop “Patisserie Vale” is popular for its low-sugar sweets, which are made from natural ingredients made by pâtissier who can’t eat sugar. We are pleased to inform you that we have decided to sell “Low-sugar ice cream” in response to your requests. (The official release date will be announced later.)
In addition, in the recent refraining from going out, we received a voice saying “We can not go directly to the store for low sugar sweets”, and we are nationwide free shipping campaign with gratitude to our customers and delivery drivers. It started in May. (The end time is currently undecided)

"Low-sugar sweets" that is made so that anyone can eat it deliciously

Located in a quiet, new residential area where nature remains, our restaurant features excellent low-sugar desserts that have a solid sweetness and high-quality taste unlike any other.
We are surprised by many customers who come to our store saying, “Does this kind of sweets have low sugar content?”

The most popular illusion that does not line up in stores
The most popular of all is the low-sugar chocolate cake “Mont Saint Michel’s Stone Pavement”. Since it was launched in 2019, it has gradually become popular with word of mouth, and now it has become a popular product that waits for a month and a half before it can be reserved and purchased at the store.

“Patissile Veil” uses only sweeteners derived from nature, and does not use preservatives at all. Therefore, we have received many happy voices from small children, elderly people with chronic illnesses, and pregnant women who have an important baby in their abdomen.
Other than that, there are about 15 to 20 types of low-sugar sweets lined up in the store, “low-sugar chocolate roll” that does not use flour, and “low-sugar plain roll” with a generous amount of fresh cream from Kyushu. Is also a popular and popular souvenir.

Background of “Low-sugar Sweets” production: The joy of eating at the same table
The owner chef Takatani developed “type 1 diabetes” at the age of 21, which is said to occur in 1 in 10,000 people.
While having a life-threatening day to day, even though I had a cake around my family on birthdays and anniversaries, I wasn’t the only one to eat, and one day I asked a child, “Why not eat together?” There are times when I was hard to answer.
Meanwhile, one day I encountered the existence of low-sugar sweets, and imitated it and tried to make it with my own hands. When Takaya ate a cake with his children, he said, “Can I eat with you today? I wanted to eat with you all the time! It’s delicious when you eat together,” and smiles at the smiling faces of the children. The moment I was able to do it, my sense of values reversed and I was able to really feel happiness.
He decided, “I want to share this happiness with other people who put up with me.” “I think I can make that cake just because I am!”

Comment by owner chef Takaya
Rather than the stance that “you are ill, I will make food that you can eat”, but “I want to make food that I can eat with peace of mind because I am sick. I will eat it. After that, I will check what the blood sugar level will be and I will only give you what I can recommend, so please eat with confidence.”

The new "low sugar ice cream" of the popular "low sugar sweets" is finally on sale!

We have decided to produce and sell “Ice” as our new “low sugar sweets”.
The focus of our efforts on making “low-sugar ice cream” is “to make it as simple and safe as possible” and “to cherish the natural taste by utilizing the original sweetness and flavor of the material”.
With normal ice cream, there are concerns that “it has a lot of sugar, which makes you worried about your blood sugar level and weight control,” “it’s anxious because it contains a lot of additives such as flavorings and preservatives.” We have developed it so that people who say “I couldn’t do it” can enjoy delicious “ice” in the summer. Sales are scheduled for July 23.

Thanks to our customers and drivers! Free shipping nationwide

The campaign name is “Thank you for the transporter”.
As new anti-corona virus measures spread, we heard from customers that they are receiving goods through the door, even though they feel sorry for the driver who always delivers them. I started as a “patisserie veil” because I am always looking after the driver, so I thought, “I can’t thank you enough.”
All shipping charges for the eligible products during the period will be borne by Le Verre. Instead, the customer can use a part of the shipping fee originally, and ask the driver to thank him because he can do something to the extent possible. We want you to be connected with kindness.
