Miffy café tokyo’ POP UP in Umeda, a café where you can feel and experience Miffy’s art along with food.
From 25 Oct (Fri) to 8 Dec (Sun), 2024, a pop-up shop for miffy café tokyo will be held in Umeda, Osaka.
Urabandai Rising Sun Hotel will open “Otomenuma Canoe Park” (“Canoe Park”) on June 8, 2020. In addition, it will be open to families living in Fukushima prefecture for free for a limited time.
Otome-numa is a marsh on the premises of the hotel and was formed by the 1888 Bandai-yama eruption. Centering on this, we have established an area on the premises where you can enjoy canoeing, zip lines, tightrope walks, nature walks, barbecues and so on.
There was no plan to open the canoe park at the beginning, and it was decided urgently while refraining from sales by the new coronavirus. While maintaining and inspecting the inside of the building and the site during the self-restraint of the hotel business, one employee walked through Otomenuma by canoe and found a narrow waterway connecting from Otomenuma. As I rowed, I arrived at another swamp that I didn’t even know existed. From that feeling of excitement at that time, we decided to open as a canoe park, saying “I think it will be a place where customers can be pleased”.
There is no land route to this swamp, but some locals seemed to know it.
There are already many canoe fields in Urabandai, and you can experience activities at Lake Hibara, Lake Onogawa, and Lake Sohara, but the features are “a magnificent view from the lake”, “a sense of openness” and “a sense of scale”. On the other hand, the canoe park features “adventure” that goes through a narrow waterway in the forest and “privacy” of the swamp in the forest that cannot be reached from land.
The hotel has traditionally focused on “educational travel that creates opportunities for children to grow” and accepts educational travel from all over the country. Although we are refraining from doing sales activities all over the country this year, we decided to implement free opening to families in Fukushima Prefecture because we want to provide children with a learning space where they can play. Also, the use is limited to citizens of the prefecture during free opening. The free period will be for the time being and it will be judged based on the infection situation of the new coronavirus nationwide.
In addition to being a place for children to discover, experience, be interested in nature, and learn, canoe parks will also be provided for parents to provide a place for children to play with peace of mind.
