2021.05.01

With the cooperation of the “Hotel Crescent Group”, which has five stores in Chiba and Tochigi prefectures, the only “Nikko Toshogu Bunrei Crescent Mikoshi” in Japan where the spirit of Nikko Toshogu, which enshrines Ieyasu Tokugawa, resides Production. On April 20, we held a ceremony to announce the completion at Nikko Toshogu Shrine.

This is one of the projects that the Hotel Crescent Group aims to open “Da Nang Crescent Japanese Resorts & Spa”, which will be the base of Japanese culture in Da Nang, Vietnam. Along with the dissemination of Japanese culture, we aim to pray for the convergence of the new coronavirus infection and, by extension, for world peace.

Nikko Toshogu is a world cultural heritage that enshrines Tokugawa Ieyasu, a symbol of peace that ruled the world of long-lasting war and laid the foundation for peace in the world. Vietnam is the most damaged country in modern times, and the spirit of Toshogu, which advocates world peace, may be able to heal people’s hearts.

Furthermore, Ieyasu Tokugawa’s policy about 400 years ago, as if the exchange between the two countries was at its peak in the Shuinsen trade, I would like to become a bridge between Japan and Vietnam’s economy, tourism, and cultural exchange, and greatly disseminate the idea of peace. ” This project was realized by the passion of our company and Nikko Toshogu to take a big step toward the world.

The enshrining to Danan is a prestigious prestigious shrine that was used by the Imperial Household Agency and was also involved in the Reiwa Daisho Festival. Cross the sea as the one and only portable shrine “Nikko Toshogu branch spirit portable shrine” with peace sculptures that symbolize Toshogu.

The completed portable shrine is different from the actual Toshogu Shrine, with the tiger that is the zodiac of Ieyasu, the sleeping cat that is a symbol of peace, the three wise monkeys that are also famous as a symbol of education, and the spirit beast that eats metal for nightmares and weapons. Reproduced with beautiful coloring and design, it is a wonderful work that can be said to be a condensed decoration of Toshogu.

Even if we go back in time, there are no cases where Toshogu and one company “start walking together” to the world.

After the ceremony of the completion dedication on April 20, the portable shrine is placed beside the sleeping cat in the Yomei Gate of Nikko Toshogu until the end of May and is open to the public. After that, it will be exhibited at Ryugujo Spa Hotel Crescent in Kisarazu, Chiba Prefecture until the end of June, and will be exhibited again at Nikko Toshogu during the summer vacation so that more people can see it.

Together with Nikko Toshogu, the group’s new history begins here after 400 years.
