From the Tokyu Department Store to Yoyogi Park, Oku Shibuya is a popular place for a new generation of cultural uses. There are many unknown stores here. A place that shines, a place that is fun, a place that is delicious… This creates a completely different atmosphere from the area around Shibuya Station.
When you come to Shibuya, why don’t you go to Oku-Shibuya, which is a little different from the bustle around the station, by walking a little further into the city.
Today, we would like to introduce two special cafes in Oku-Shibuya.

Coffee Supreme.

Coffee Supreme. is a New Zealand cafe brand. It has nothing to do with the fashion brand Supreme, though. That big logo is attractive.

But don’t underestimate this Coffee Supreme.
Established in 1991, it is loved by people for its taste immediately after its release, and the only store outside New Zealand is the Tokyo branch. If you like coffee, please try it.

Unlike ordinary chain cafe coffee, it has a roasted feeling, and you can feel the aroma of coffee after a sip.
The storefront is long and slender, with a bright interior and an open space. Sit in the corner, turn on your computer, listen to the in-store background music and taste your coffee and you’ll feel good staying there all afternoon.

In addition to coffee, there are also snacks and related products for sale. Simple and elegant design, dignified items, limited items only available here. This little cafe is full of surprises.
Please try this coffee when you come to Oku-Shibuya.

FUGLEN

This Norwegian coffee brand is also a popular cafe in Oku Shibuya.
Since its opening in Norway in 1963, its unmixed single coffee bean selection and nostalgic-style décor have grabbed the hearts of the people, with many enthusiastic fans since the opening.

The Shibuya store, which opened in 2012, is also the first overseas store, and coffee fans visit here every day. The store is small, but with the same Norwegian décor, with a refreshing table and chairs and a coffee aroma. There is also a small bench outdoors.

It has a different taste than typical American coffee, it is powerful, aromatic and mellow, it tastes a little fruity in the throat and has no bitterness. Since FUGLEN coffee is light roasted, the original aroma of coffee beans is maintained.
Coffee beans and European-style bread are also sold in the store. If you get tired of American style, why not switch to European style?
