The Hotel Seiryu Kyoto Shimizu will sell accommodation plans from August 1, 2020, at K36 The Bar & Rooftop, located on the 4th floor of the hotel, that promises special seats that normally do not accept advance reservations.

This hotel is a hotel that preserved and utilized the former Kyoto City Shimizu Elementary School that was relocated in the early Showa period.
With this plan, you can spend your adult time in the open-air space with the rooftop of the hotel as a bar, overlooking the heritage architecture and the view of Kyoto that can only be seen here. The space where you can enjoy sake and meals while looking at Kiyomizu Temple and Yasaka Tower is a unique experience of our hotel, which is within walking distance to both spots. We will provide services corresponding to new lifestyles and aim to be a hotel that customers can use with peace of mind.

From Moto-Shimizu Elementary School to Heritage Hotel (Image of hotel stay can be seen in video)

Shimizu Elementary School, which was founded as the Shimogyo 27th program elementary school in 1869, closed its 141-year history in 2010. After that, in the former Shimizu Elementary School site utilization plan, the historical building was preserved and utilized, converted to the current hotel, and reborn as The Hotel Seiryu Kyoto Kiyomizu with the concept of “making a memory and connecting to the future”.

The bar located on the top floor of the hotel has two areas: the main bar “K36 The Bar” where you can relax on the sofa and the rooftop bar & restaurant “K36 Rooftop” where you can enjoy the view of Kyoto. It consists of: The two different spaces are both filled environments for a good night’s time. Mr. Minoru Nishida, who develops “Bar K6”, “Cave de K” and “Bar Keller” with different concepts in Kyoto participates in the bar production. Cocktails, whiskey, champagne and all liquor are filled with his thoughts. Enjoy the coveted sake in a sophisticated adult space.

[Shinjuku Gyoen x Naked] NAKED Autumn Foliage in Shinjuku Gyoen 2023 to be held

From November 22 (Wed) to December 3 (Sun), 2023, an autumn foliage lighting event will be held at Shinjuku Gyoen. Following the cherry blossom event this spring, Shinjuku Gyoen and Naked will collaborate again this fall for the autumn foliage event. Shinjuku Gyoen, one of Tokyo’s most famous gardens, is one of the few places in the city where visitors can enjoy the autumn leaves. The 200-meter-long rows of plane trees, the best maple tree spot in the city, Momijiyama, and the “Middle Pond,” with its spectacular reflection in the pond, will offer a world where the autumn leaves of Shinjuku Gyoen and Naked’s art and food are fused together.
