[RIHGA Royal Hotel Hiroshima] Night Museum ticket included in the package is back by popular demand!

2022.08.15

We are pleased to announce that we will be offering a limited number of packages for the second season of the “Hiroshima Night Museum” tour, which includes a ticket to see the special nighttime art tour at the Hiroshima Museum of Art, which is just a short walk from the hotel.

"The Hiroshima Museum of Art" holds approximately 1,000 pieces of French modern art, mainly Impressionist art, and a collection of Japanese modern art.

After the closing of the museum, an actor dressed as the artist of the paintings will act as a guide and introduce episodes in the creation of the paintings, the historical background of the time, and the personalities of the painters who lived in the same generation in a story-like manner, involving participants in the story.

The second season will feature a “Japanese painting” version featuring Takeuchi Seiho, Yokoyama Taikan, and Murakami Kagaku, the masters of modern Japanese painting, whose works are also on display at the museum.
Participants will not only learn about the historical background of the time and their styles, but also experience their passion for their works through the encounter with these three painters who aimed to revolutionize Japanese-style painting. After watching the performance, they will surely be able to learn and deepen their interest in art.
