Sake that is not shipped due to the influence of the coronavirus and sleeps in the sake brewery. Released exclusively for camping

2021.09.08

A joint project between SYULIP, a sake WEB media that provides information on how to enjoy sake, and sake brewery (Kuwabara Sake Bar Co., Ltd.).
We will release a limited number of sake exclusively for the activity “Camping” that you can enjoy while avoiding crowds, and will deliver a new way to enjoy sake from Corona.

Drinking sake leads to support for sake rice farmers

Due to the effects of restaurant closures and shortened business hours, shipments fell sharply compared to before the Corona disaster. Due to the limited storage space for aging sake, the production volume in the previous year has decreased. If sake production continues to be reduced, rice farmers, who are important to us, will be hit.

Through this project, we will sell sake that sleeps in sake breweries, and if we can secure storage space, we will be able to increase the production quantity, which will lead to support for rice farmers.

The charm of camping sake

(1) It is delicious whether you drink it at room temperature or warm it.
A carefully selected blend of sake that does not spoil the flavor even when stored at room temperature, which is suitable for activities “camping” that you can enjoy in nature. You can enjoy it as cold sake by chilling it in a river or a cooler box. Of course, you can drink it deliciously at room temperature.
You can drink it as it is. You can cool it. You can warm it up.

(2) Golden sake that feels nature
Sake that you can enjoy the original taste of rice and the original taste of richness without dare to filter sake. It is a sake that you can enjoy the taste of nature itself in the magnificent nature.

(3) “Junmai sake” made from rice and water
Junmai sake, which is made from rice and water, is a sake that allows you to enjoy the original taste of rice. We are focusing on sake brewing that makes the best use of good rice, good water, and the blessings of nature.

(4) Japan’s cleanest river raw material water
The Takatsu River, which flows near the Kuwabara Sake Bar, is evaluated as the river with the best water quality that shines as “the best clear stream in Japan”. The pure underground water of the Takatsu River is pumped from a well on the brewery site and used.
