A highway bus that connects “Kyoto-Mt. Koya” directly, operating from April 23 to November 28

For 220 days from April 23 to November 28, 2021, we will operate the highway bus “Kyoto Koyasan Line” that connects Kyoto and Koyasan without changing trains (approval pending).
Koyasan was opened as a dojo for Shingon Esoteric Buddhism by Kukai (Kobo Daishi). Boasting more than 1200 years of foundation, it is a place where history, culture and nature are condensed, which was registered as a World Heritage Site “Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range” in 2004.
By expanding the service period, you can enjoy the fresh green of spring, summer summer, autumn leaves and Mt. Koya in each season.
The highway bus “Kyoto Koyasan Line” connects Kyoto and Koyasan in about 2 hours and 30 minutes. It is much more convenient than traveling by train, which requires a transfer.
