[Hoshinoya Fuji] Held “Sea of trees Retreat”, a program to purify the mind and body and feel deep healing

2022.03.01

“Hoshinoya” provides overwhelming extraordinary life with the concept of “rest to be absorbed”.
From Japan’s first glamping resort “Hoshinoya Fuji”, a wellness program “Sea of trees Retreat” will be held where you can bathe in the forest and heal deeply.
With the support of a glamping master who is familiar with the outdoors, even those who do not usually have a habit of exercising can participate without difficulty.

Sharpen your senses with "Sea of trees Meditation" [NEW]

We will perform “Sea of trees Meditation” to sharpen your senses in the mysterious atmosphere of Ryugu Cave, one of the lava caves in Sea of trees.
The Dragon Cave is a nationally designated natural monument that people once visited to beg for rain, and the shrine of Toyotamahime, the god of water, is enshrined at the entrance.
In a sacred atmosphere, you can sharpen your senses and feel the purification of your mind and body by meditating while pondering the culture unique to this land.

* Lava cave … Moisture gasified by lava flow under high temperature and high pressure creates initial cavities, and each cavity is scraped by the fluid lava on the floor and connected one after another to form a tunnel-shaped horizontal hole.

Feel the energy of Jukai with your whole body and get deep healing

After sharpening your senses with sea of trees meditation in the Dragon Cave, you will walk in the Jukai.
While being aware of deep breathing and the trunk, step on the ground firmly with the soles of your feet and walk fast to raise your body temperature and awaken your body.
By walking powerfully in the rich nature, you can experience the energy of the forest with your whole body and get deep healing while bathing in the forest.
(*) The glamping master arranges the course according to the participants’ usual exercise habits and physical condition, so even those with little exercise experience can feel at ease.

* … Psychological changes due to POMS in forests and urban areas

Support unique to glamping resorts

During your stay, you will find physical fitness and dietary support.
Since Jukai is located in the semi-highlands at an altitude of about 920m to 1300m, we will perform a “forest stretch walk” on the day of arrival for the purpose of acclimatizing to the highlands.
This is a program originally developed by Hoshinoya Fuji, which warms up for about 30 minutes on the walking path on the premises with the support of the Glamping Master.
