Hoshinoya Tokyo
Hoshinoya Tokyo, opened in July 2016 in Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, is a “Japanese Ryokan of the Tower” that has evolved to suit the modern age.
The majority of the building is laid out on tatami mats, following the Japanese custom of removing one’s shoes at the entrance. Guest rooms are built with natural materials such as tatami mats, shoji screens, bamboo, and chestnuts used in Japanese houses, while also providing comfort in line with modern lifestyles. We will continue to offer room decorations in accordance with the Japanese seasonal calendar, experiences that bring Japanese culture close to home, and the hospitality that is typical of Japanese inns, in order to satisfy our many guests.
