No need to go outside! A kimono rental store in Karasuma-Oike that allows you to take lots of wonderful photos in a space that seems to have been time-returned to Kyoto during the Meiji era!
The shop, renovated from a 100-year-old Kyomachiya, has a traditional and quaint space as if it were time-slip in the Meiji period. It is a wonderful space where pictures can be taken wherever you cut, such as the courtyard and tatami mats that change in each season.
There are many types of kimonos ranging from original patterns with cute and pop designs to adult-like kimonos that match the shop image. You can have a relaxing kimono experience in a calm Japanese-style space.
After changing into a kimono, you can take a picture with a professional photographer.
Posing advice is also detailed, so you can feel like a model.
Of course, you can go out to the city of Kyoto as it is. Nijo Castle, Kyoto Gyoen, and Sanjo Street, where popular shops are concentrated, are within walking distance and are very convenient for sightseeing. Whether you’re in the store or out, you can enjoy Kyoto.
Why don’t you visit the Oike Bettei where you can enjoy the kimono experience even if it’s raining or cold?
