Wellness experience “Wellness Go” started by Mori Trust!

2020.06.13

Mori Trust Co., Ltd. will launch a wellness experience “Wellness Go” throughout the group to meet new needs due to the improvement of global health awareness accompanying the spread of new coronavirus infection. As the first step, we propose a plan to experience the wellness peculiar to Japan at 10 facilities operated by Mori Trust Hotels & Resorts Co., Ltd., a group company, with the aim of reviving the tourism industry, which is currently in a serious situation. The “Wellness Go Campaign” will be launched from Monday, June 8th.

For approximately 70 years, the Group’s mission has been to contribute continuously and stably to the community and society as a developer, and has been engaged in large-scale mixed-use urban development and hotel development business in resort areas. In 2017, we will formulate the corporate slogan “Create the Future” and propose a rich lifestyle for each person by creating new innovation with a view to the future society, with an idea not sticking to existing businesses. I am aiming for.
With the recent spread of unknown viruses, psychological and physical anxiety has been brought worldwide, and the need for wellness to release the stress of self-restraint and to realize a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle is increasing. I will. Therefore, the Group seeks a place where “realistic bonds” are created and a wellness that enriches the mind and body, which is required only in the With Corona era. In the future, by proposing various wellness experiences “Wellness Go”, we will promote efforts toward the realization of a wellness society that values the bond between people.
As the first step, we will develop the “Wellness Go Campaign” where you can experience the wellness unique to Japan by traveling at 10 resort facilities operated by the Group. In this campaign, we prepared a total of 375 guest rooms with hot springs in our group facilities and various plans* utilizing 16 hectares or more of a vast and natural site. With these plans, we propose a new travel style that keeps your body and mind healthy and enjoys living your own way.

Three pillars of the wellness experience proposed by the "Wellness Go Campaign"

Nature experience
Various activities such as hot springs and forest baths that utilize natural energy to enhance immunity and metabolism

Food Experience
Enchanting food experience that contributes to longevity, such as fermented food, vegetarian food, and local production for local consumption

Mindfulness
Activities to enhance mental relaxation and concentration, such as zen, meditation, yoga, etc. performed in superb scenery and historic buildings
Japan has abundant natural resources, of which about 3,000 hot springs* are among the largest in the world. In addition, Japanese food culture, which is said to support longevity and enhances immunity, and Japan’s unique mindfulness, are rooted in customs and culture to keep the mind and body healthy and to live richly as oneself. Japan’s wellness is receiving a great deal of attention from the world, as anxiety about unknown viruses and stress increase mental and physical health concerns worldwide.
In order to revitalize the tourism industry, which has driven the growth of the Japanese economy, it is urgent to take measures to stimulate domestic tourism demand and to revive future inbound demand. The Group will promote the “Wellness Go” through the journey to reaffirm the value of Japan’s tourism resources and to provide hospitality that makes you feel “real bonds” between people. ..
Then, while contributing to the development of the local economy, we will proactively tackle the reversal offensive in Japan’s tourism industry.
