From Hiromitsu’s memoir “Mae miscellaneous book”
On April 10, 2019, Japanese-style painter Hiromitsu Kato died during production at the Saitama Ranzan atelier … 62 years old. From February 8th to March 7th of the same year, the solo exhibition at “Michiko-sama Hall”, which was the last exhibition of my life, was allowed to bear the name of Empress Empress at the Nissai Center of the University of Salamanca, Spain. , Was featured in many local media such as TV, newspapers and online articles.
Two years after that, the cherry blossom season will come again, even if it is a corona virus. At the Kitai Gallery near Chidorigafuchi, Japanese-style painter Hiromitsu Kato will carefully select and display the works of cherry blossoms that he has pursued to the end. Kato’s cherry blossoms, which draw only tens of thousands of petals in layers to get closer to one of the gods, express a unique view of the world in combination with the black background that changes with the angle of light. Please come and see the cherry blossoms at Chidorigafuchi and the cherry blossoms at Hiromitsu Kato in the gallery.
