2020.12.28

From December 16th to January 5th, 3rd year of Reiwa (* excluding December 31st and January 1st), the first department store will open on the first basement floor of the Daimaru Tokyo store.
As a commemorative product for opening the store, “New Inari Japanese Sweets”, a fusion of Inari sushi and Japanese sweets, is newly released at the Daimaru Tokyo store.

Fukuju family

In 1922 (Taisho 11), he founded the sushi restaurant “Fukujuya” in Tokyo. Since the end of the war, inari sushi and norimaki have been sold in Asakusa, Tokyo (current address), but it was decided to close the business in 2009 because the third generation was too old to continue the business. About 10 years have passed, and I want to preserve the tradition that has been preserved for generations to the next generation! It was reopened on August 1, 2020.

The name “Inari sushi”, which has been passed down since the company was founded, and the fried tofu are “turned over”. We are developing sushi sushi. “Inari” is a registered trademark of the Fukuju family.

Inari sushi is fried tofu and rice. Our specialty fried tofu is custom-made by a tofu shop in Niigata prefecture to match the thickness of the Fukuju family’s Inari sushi. Thick fried tofu is a gem that allows you to enjoy the rich flavor of soybeans soaked in the broth. We use carefully selected ingredients and carefully hold them one by one at the store.

“Inari Sushi” is characterized by the juiciness of fried tofu that spreads in your mouth after you eat a bite by carefully degreasing the fried tofu and slowly simmering the thick fried tofu in homemade broth. In addition, it is a gem that you can enjoy the aroma of soybeans by roasting the surface of the fried tofu turned inside out.

“Inari Roll”, which is fried tofu and wrapped with vinegared rice and ingredients, has become a signboard product after the reopening.
