【WABI-ICHI】A new type of restaurant, a marriage of your favorite wine and sake with Sendai beef

2022.12.23

Ichinobo Villa Sendai Beef Charcoal Grill Wabi-ichi has launched the BYO (Bring Your Own) Course this winter, which allows guests to bring in their favorite special wine or sake for free.

BYO stands for Bring Your Own (Wine) and means to bring your own wine to a restaurant and enjoy it with the restaurant’s food. It is a drink style originally started by restaurants in English-speaking countries that do not have a license to sell alcoholic beverages, and has taken root as a common food and beverage culture, especially in Australia.

A5 rank "Sendai beef"

Sendai beef is the highest grade of Japanese black beef raised and produced in Miyagi Prefecture, with A5 and B5 being the highest and second-highest grades, respectively.
The taste of Sendai beef is characterized by its soft and smooth texture, mild flavor, and rich juices.

Of course, we also have many recommended wines to match the parts of the meat.
