Kyoto Aquarium, first major renewal after opening -Scheduled to be released in late April 2020-

The area of the jellyfish display area will be expanded to about 4 times the current level, and a dome-shaped aquarium with a diameter of 6.5 meters that will be wrapped in a 360-degree water space when you step in. In addition, the jellyfish breeding and research work that has been done in the backyard so far is done in an open space, so you can observe the jellyfish growth process in multiple aquariums and see the daily work of the breeding staff up close.

With this renewal, the number of jellyfish exhibits from the current 8 species of about 400 to about 5,000 in 20 types, the highest in western Japan.
