Hoshino Resort Aomoriya staff and festival groups will co-star and participate in the festival

2021.04.30

Hoshino Resort Aomoriya is a facility where you can enjoy activities such as festival shows. This year, in addition to the co-starring show with the festival group, the staff of Aomoriya went to four festivals, and from July 31st to August 8th, the Aomori Neputa Festival and the Hachinohe Sansha Taisai Festival (Hachinohe-san) took place in four days. We will participate in the Shataisai, Goshogawara Tachineputa, and Hirosaki Neputa Festival.

Bonds with festival groups deepened by the cancellation of the festival

In the summer of 2020, due to the influence of the new coronavirus, festivals in each region including the Aomori Nebuta Festival were canceled. To encourage the festival groups who have lost their place to perform, we held a co-star show at Aomoriya.

The participating groups said, “I was happy to have the opportunity to perform while the festival was canceled,” and “I enjoyed being able to participate together.” I felt the success of the co-starring. In addition, the staff of Aomoriya, who plays every day, was also inspired by seeing the authentic performance technique up close.
With gratitude for the co-star show, we will participate in the real festival and perform together in 2021 to liven up the four festivals.

"Festival" indispensable to Aomoriya

At the show venue “Michinoku Festival” in Aomoriya, staff have been playing musical instruments since the opening in 2006, and the Aomori Festival has been shown in a show format. The festival is indispensable to the culture of Aomori, and it is also an indispensable element for Aomoriya, whose concept is “Nore-sore (*) Aomori-Human Story-“.

The staff crossed Aomori prefecture in 4 days and won the four major festivals

During the four festivals, which are concentrated from July 31st to August 8th, Aomoriya staff will go to each festival to perform. Aomoriya staff will also participate in the group practice starting in July to learn performance techniques and how to show them to the audience. Participate with the same tension and passion, as some festivals have awards given to the best performing groups.

A co-star show will be held at Aomoriya for the festival.

We will have four festival groups come in turn and perform the co-starring show of the four major festivals in Aomori again. Guests can listen to the authentic performances while staying at the facility and feel the heat of the Aomori festival live.
