The ‘Summer Early Bird 10’, which offers a discount on the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, one of the world’s most popular mountain tourism routes linking Toyama and Nagano prefectures, will go on sale from 1 May (Thursday) 2025 for use in July and from 30 May (Friday) for use in August.
What is the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route?
A world-class mountain tourism route in the Chubu Alpine National Park, Tateyama. Between Tateyama Station in Toyama Prefecture and Ogisawa in Nagano Prefecture, visitors can travel by ropeway, bus, cable car and six other vehicles and easily enjoy spectacular views of the 3,000-metre Tateyama Mountain Range and Kurobe Dam.
The ‘Summer Early Bird 10’ tickets are available from June to August, and are available at a discount if booked at least 10 days in advance of use.
Visitors can comfortably enjoy the summer mountain season with its many attractions, such as Mikuriga-ike, said to be the most beautiful volcanic lake in the Northern Alps, and the sightseeing water discharge of the Kurobe Dam, which starts on Thursday, 26 June.
