It is an activity where you can gracefully enjoy the time from the setting of the sun to the rising of the moon by floating a boat on the Oigawa River in front of Hoshinoya Kyoto.
You can charter the elegant houseboat “Hisui” and enjoy the moon-related bento and sake while listening to the sounds of autumn insects in a bamboo basket.

In the story of The Tale of Genji, it is depicted that in the fall, the bell worms are taken and released in the garden, and a banquet (shuen) is held while enjoying the voice of the bell worms (* 1).
Aristocrats during the Heian period enjoyed the sounds of autumn insects.
In analogy to the traditional autumn play, we will prepare a bamboo basket with autumn insects in the houseboat.
