In addition, “Ski Santa” who loves skiing and Tomamu’s powder snow has appeared. If you talk to Ski Santa, you will get a Christmas gift of sweets with the image of it. At the indoor cafe “Cloud Cafe”, we will give you Christmas-only sweets.

Agri Christmas / Resonale Nasu (Tochigi Prefecture)

During the period, objects such as cabbage and radishes with the motif of seasonal vegetables will shine in the “POKO POKO Square” in the facility, making it look like a shining vegetable field.

Introducing “Agri Santa,” who talks about vegetables and gives guests a puffed rice made from rice as a Christmas present.

At the buffet restaurant “SHAKI SHAKI”, you can enjoy “Christmas veggie dessert” using vegetables such as Stollen using spinach and roll cake of tomato. In addition, in the “Farmers Lesson” for Christmas only, we will make a Christmas wreath using rice straw with Agri Santa.

Wine Resort Christmas / RISONARE Yatsugatake (Yamanashi Prefecture)

The “Wine Bottle Tree” made from 12,000 bottles of wine shines on the hotel’s main street, “Peman Street”.

This year, the third year, the “Mosaic Wine Bottle Tree” is newly introduced as the main tree. Whether you are a family or a couple, you can spend a special Christmas, such as a Christmas market where you can enjoy wine-related miscellaneous goods and craft experiences, and Christmas sweets that are paired with wine.

Fireworks Christmas / RISONARE Atami (Shizuoka Prefecture)

In the activity lounge, a 3-meter-high “Fireworks Christmas Tree” with a fireworks motif has appeared. It shines in various colors and creates a Christmas atmosphere.
At RISONARE Atami, Santa Claus, featuring fireworks-patterned clothes and a bag with a fireworks ball motif, has appeared. It is an event where you can receive a gift of konpeito, which is reminiscent of fireworks, taste a colorful “fireworks Christmas cocktail”, and spend Christmas unique to Atami.

South Island Beach Christmas / Resonale Kohama Island (Okinawa Prefecture)

A coral-shaped Christmas tree with a total length of about 6 meters will appear on the beach next to the hotel.

A tree made of coral and white sand and a sofa made of white sand are lined up in the surrounding area, and when it lights up at night, it creates a fantastic atmosphere. It is an event where you can enjoy Christmas on the beach by enjoying the coffee roasted with coral and the bittersweet “35CHINSUKO” of coffee taste presented by Kariyushi Santa.

Eighty Years After the War: A Reflection on the Preciousness of Ordinary Life YUKIKAZE – In Theaters Nationwide from August 15, 2025

“To Return Alive, To Bring Others Home Alive”

Opening nationwide on August 15, 2025—marking eighty years since the end of World War II—YUKIKAZE is a feature film based on the true story of the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) destroyer Yukikaze, a vessel that rescued countless lives amid the horrors of war. A press screening was held in advance at the Sony Pictures screening room.

The destroyer Yukikaze, which served throughout the Pacific War, was renowned for rescuing numerous sailors thrown into the sea during fierce naval battles, surviving to the end of the war virtually unscathed. It earned the legendary moniker “the lucky ship.” This film brings to life the ship’s heroic journey, alongside the lives of those who persevered through one of the most turbulent eras in modern history.

Leading the cast is Yutaka Takenouchi as Captain Kazutoshi Terasawa—a fictional amalgamation inspired by the real-life captains of Yukikaze. Hiroshi Tamaki portrays Petty Officer First Class Kohei Hayase. Supporting roles are delivered by an ensemble of acclaimed actors including Daiken Okudaira, Rena Tanaka, Kanji Ishimaru, and Toru Masuoka. Kiichi Nakai delivers a commanding performance as Vice Admiral Seiichi Itō, the Second Fleet Commander of the IJN who met his fate aboard the battleship Yamato.

In today’s world, once again shaken by division and violence, YUKIKAZE poses an urgent question to those of us living in the peace that others fought to protect: Are we once again treading the path of past mistakes? As collective memory of the war fades, this film becomes ever more vital—a call to reflect on the true value of peace.
