At the resort hotel “Kyukamura Minamiizu” located in Minamiizu, the southernmost town on the Izu Peninsula, Kawazu Sakura’s for those who stayed at Kyukamura during the “Minami no Sakura and Rapeseed Flower Festival”. The “Sakura Bus” and “Night Sakura Bus” that will be sent to the roadside station of the Sakura Festival will be held every day during the festival.

Approximately 800 Kawazu cherry blossoms are in full bloom over a distance of approximately 4.2km along the Aono River. In recent years, the flowering situation has become faster, and this year it will be held from February 1st, 9 days ahead of schedule. In Minamiizu, Kawazu cherry blossoms are also known as “Minami no Sakura” and are visited by many tourists every year. The two major cherry blossom festivals in Izu, the “Kawazu Cherry Blossom Festival” in Kawazu Town at the same time, are a masterpiece.

"Sakura Bus" and "Sakura Bus at Night" sent from Kyukamura to the venue
During the Flower Festival, we will operate the “Sakura Bus” and “Night Sakura Bus” every day, which can only be used by guests staying at Kyukamura Minamiizu. It takes about 7 minutes by bus from Kyukamura to the main venue, Road Station “Shimogamo Onsen Yunohana”. After arriving, you can enjoy a free walk.

A field of rape blossoms that is in full bloom from the end of January every year. It is spectacular that the vast site of about 30,000 m2 is covered with yellow and the whole area is surrounded by the scent of rape blossoms.
