Nikko coloring experience with a traditional craftsman involved in the restoration of shrines and temples

Under the guidance of Ms. Miho Ihara, a female traditional craftsman who has been involved in the restoration of cultural properties and historical buildings such as Nikko Toshogu Shrine,
We will create crafts using rare materials such as mineral pigments that are actually used in shrines and temples in Nikko.

Coloring the "Treasure Mallet" and praying for the year

The “Treasure Mallet Prayer Course” allows you to paint the “Treasure Mallet” of Tachiki Kannon of Chuzenji Temple, a branch temple of the World Heritage Nikko Rinnoji Temple, and receive prayers for a year.
“Treasure Mallet” is a lucky charm that wards off misfortunes in the home, and you can use mineral pigments and gold leaf to color and put your name on the plain wooden Mallet designed by Ms. Ihara.

Visit the undisclosed "Colored Sketch" at Nikko Toshogu Shrine
