■ What is "Karuizawa Shiraito Falls Midwinter Light Up"?

With the Shiraito Falls, which is 3M high and 70M wide, on the screen, the starry sky projected in the pitch-black sky, snow, and the Shiraito Falls that do not freeze even below freezing due to the underground water of Mt. Asama are lit up with a warm light source.

Unlike the summer illumination, the illumination emphasizes nature. In fine weather, you can appreciate the starry sky of the night sky, and it is an event where you can re-recognize the beauty of nature that you do not notice in the daytime in the clear air.

Since Shiraito Falls, where the event is held, is located in Joshinetsu Kogen National Park, we are illuminating the Ministry of the Environment in consideration of the amount of light, color, production method, etc. through procedures based on the Natural Parks Act.
