2022.04.24

The “Kyoto Uji Wazuka Tea Fair” will be held for a limited time in collaboration with Rihga Royal Hotel Kyoto and Wazuka Town, which is located in the southern part of Kyoto and has been certified as a “Japan Heritage”.

“Ocha no Kyoto” in the campaign “Let’s go to another Kyoto” run by Kyoto is a project to widely disseminate the charm of the southern part of Kyoto, the hometown of Japanese tea that produced matcha, sencha, and gyokuro. ..
Wazuka Town is located in the southern part of Kyoto and is registered as the first “Kyoto Landscape Asset”.

This year, which is the 16th time, all directly managed restaurants will sell a menu using “Kyoto Uji Wazukacha”, and 5 kinds of matcha desserts will be prepared in the lounge.
With the hospitality unique to new tea, we will support and consume the producers in Wazuka-cho, where the consumption of tea has decreased due to the corona damage and the sales have decreased significantly.
