[Risonare Yatsugatake] Let’s warm up from the core with hoto wine “Hokahoka Hoto Wine Cafe” held

2022.01.08

At Hoshino Resorts RISONARE Yatsugatake, an event “Hokahoka Hoto Wine Cafe” will be held on the main street “Peman Street” of the hotel where the fire stand is installed, where you can enjoy “Hoto”, a local dish of Yamanashi prefecture, with red wine.

Offering Western-style hoto that can be eaten like a snack

At this event, Yamanashi Prefecture’s local cuisine “Hoto” will be arranged in a Western style. This is a Western-style hoto that is based on the classic winter dish “Ribolita” in Tuscany, Italy, after RISONARE Yatsugatake was built in the image of a mountain city in Italy. As a light meal that you can easily eat like a snack, we will serve it in the kitchen car on Peman Street.

You can feel the flavor of condensed vegetables and the flavor of Koshu miso in the soup. If you like, you can enjoy cheese, a mixture of ground pepper (*) and bread crumbs, or topped with black pepper.

(*) … A seasoning made by frying chili peppers, sesame seeds, Japanese pepper, etc. in oil.

Enjoy wine and hoto mariage

We offer five types of red wine, including Muscat Bailey A wine, which has a fruity aroma and flavor, and a light taste, and hot wine, which you will want to drink in winter. Muscat Bailey A is recognized as an endemic species of Japan and is the most produced black grape variety in Yamanashi Prefecture. The aroma of barrel aging matches the well-balanced flavorful hoto of Koshu miso.

A space where live music is played and the bonfire is surrounded

During the period, a bonfire will be set up on Peman Street. In addition, soothing music plays in the space, and ocarina and guitar units and saxophonists perform live on Saturdays and Sundays during the period. If you taste the wine in the space surrounding the bonfire, it will surely be a special time to warm your body and soul.

[Hoshinoya Tokyo] “New Year’s Kabuki Stay” brings the hospitality of an Edo Period theatrical teahouse to the present day.

Hoshinoya Tokyo, a Japanese-style inn located in Otemachi, Tokyo, will again this year host the “New Year Kabuki Stay” program, a two-day and one-night stay from January 5 to 26, 2024.
For people living in Edo, one of their New Year’s pleasures was to watch Kabuki, and it was a chic way to spend the New Year. Theatrical teahouses supported this way of enjoying Kabuki. In addition to arranging tickets to the theater, the teahouses delighted patrons by providing a complete range of services, including plot notes, tea, sweets, makunouchi box lunches, and snacks and drinks (*1). Hoshinoya Tokyo offers a stay to celebrate the New Year with hospitality similar to the theatrical teahouses of the time.

[Shinjuku Gyoen x Naked] NAKED Autumn Foliage in Shinjuku Gyoen 2023 to be held

From November 22 (Wed) to December 3 (Sun), 2023, an autumn foliage lighting event will be held at Shinjuku Gyoen. Following the cherry blossom event this spring, Shinjuku Gyoen and Naked will collaborate again this fall for the autumn foliage event. Shinjuku Gyoen, one of Tokyo’s most famous gardens, is one of the few places in the city where visitors can enjoy the autumn leaves. The 200-meter-long rows of plane trees, the best maple tree spot in the city, Momijiyama, and the “Middle Pond,” with its spectacular reflection in the pond, will offer a world where the autumn leaves of Shinjuku Gyoen and Naked’s art and food are fused together.
