Enjoy matcha green tea in a chartered aerial tea room with a view of Rankyo

After early check-in at 14:00, you can rent out an aerial tea room with a view of Rankyo and enjoy matcha green tea and HOSHINOYA Kyoto original sweets made by the staff.
The sweets were made for Hoshinoya Kyoto by Kameya Yoshinaga, a Kyoto confectioner founded in 1803.
Feeling the pleasant breeze from the Oi River, which flows in front of HOSHINOYA Kyoto, you can enjoy the scenery of the four seasons all to yourself and spend a luxurious time without hesitation.

Time to immerse yourself in your own world by immersing yourself in reading while feeling nature

The guest rooms are equipped with about 20 books on the theme of travel.
The books are carefully selected by Keibunsha Ichijoji, a bookstore in Kyoto, with the hope that you will have an unexpected encounter while traveling.
In a quiet space where you can hear the murmuring of the river and the chirping of birds, you can discover new books, immerse yourself in reading, and immerse yourself in your own world.

Seasonal dinner and pairing drink to enjoy in the comfort of your room

For dinner, a Shokado bento box and a Japanese sake pairing drink will be served in your room.
The Shokado bento is prepared by the head chef so that you can fully enjoy seasonal dishes such as mukozuke, simmered dishes, hassun, grilled dishes, and simmered dishes.
Since it is provided in the guest room, you can enjoy a relaxing time listening to the murmuring of the river without worrying about other guests.

Spend time in contact with nature while walking around the gardens of HOSHINOYA Kyoto

In the morning light, the staff will take you on a private tour of the gardens of the facility, designed by Kyoto’s Ueyakato Gardens, which has a history of 170 years.
