The Japanese irises that color the early summer of the daimyo garden have reached their peak.
Koishikawa Korakuen’s Japanese iris is tall and has the beauty of growing in clusters.
You can enjoy large flowers of various colors such as bluish purple, mauve, reddish purple, and white.

A wooden path has been set up beside the iris field so that you can see the Japanese iris up close.

At Koishikawa Korakuen, you can enjoy Edo-style cultivars produced from the Edo period, when the cultivation of Japanese irises flourished, to the Showa prewar period.
