[Hakata Motsunabe Yamaya] Spring limited seasonal menu “Mentai tororo Umaka Motsunabe” is now available

From ‘Hakata Motsunabe Yamaya’, a simple motsunabe, ‘Mentai Tororo Umaka Motsunabe’, will be available from March 6, 2023.
Using a special soup that combines Agodashi soy sauce flavored soup with kombu dashi,
Seasonal vegetables such as domestic beef offal, onions, potatoes, cabbage, chives, and burdock are added, and finished with grated yam and Yamaya’s mustard cod roe to create a luxurious dish.

Mentai tororo Umaka Motsunabe

It looks like spring, and it has a rich taste that condenses umami in a light taste.
Please enjoy while soaking the spicy mentaiko in the soup. Rice porridge made with leftover soup is recommended.

Tempura of Ouma bamboo shoots

Uses “Ouma bamboo shoots”, a masterpiece that heralds spring in Fukuoka. The bamboo shoots sent directly from Ouma are said to be delicious in terms of aroma, taste and texture.

The mysterious scenery of Lake Shirakawa in the town of Iide in southern Yamagata Prefecture can be seen only during two months in spring. In spring, a large amount of melt water flows into Lake Shirakawa from the Iide mountain range, one of Japan’s 100 most famous mountains, where there is heavy snowfall. When the lake is full of water, it creates a fantastic sight of white willow trees as if they are growing out of the water.
